Our History

Southeast Asian Service and Leadership Network (SEALNet) was founded at Stanford University in 2004 with a mission: to bring service and to promote the spirit of service leadership among Southeast Asian communities. Our vision is to build and nurture a community of service leaders who are committed to serve, equipped to lead, enterprising in action, and plugged into a network of like-hearted individuals who are passionate about social development.

Every year, we aid several student-led service leadership projects in Southeast Asia under the twin pillar of service and leadership, incorporating both college student-led teams and selected local high school/youth leaders for a 2-week (nominal) period.
